Pavakka Mezhukkupuratti
Spicy Kerala style Bitter gourd fry

Cook time: 20 minutes
Serves: 2 to 3
Ingredients:
- Pavakka,bitter gourd,sliced-2 medium
- Onion sliced-1/4 cup
- Kashmiri chili powder- 3/4 to 1 tsp( or to taste)
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
- Salt-to taste
- Curry leaves-few
- Coconut oil- as required
Instructions:
NOTES
- Add 1 tbsp of coconut pieces along with onion,if desired.

May 8, 2014 at 3:07 amNice mezhukkupuratti. I make it in the same way, except that I add some tamarind juice at the end to reduce the bitterness. Nice clicks.
