Fish Tawa Fry

Spicy kerala style fish tawa fry with coconut milk
Prep Time: 40 minutes .
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Serves: 2 to 3
Ingredients:
- Mackerel /king fish / Karimeen/pearlspot- 300 to 350 gms
- Ginger,finely chopped- 2 tsp
- Garlic,finely chopped- 2 tsp
- Green chilies,chopped- 2 to 3
- Shallots,sliced- 4 to 5
- Curry leaves – 1 or 2 sprigs
- Kashmiri chili powder -1/4 to 1/2 tsp
- Tamarind pulp- 2 tsp(pulp from small gooseberry size ball)
- Coconut milk- 1/3 cup
- Coconut oil – as requied
- Salt – to taste
For marination:
- Kashmiri chili powder- 1.5 tbsp( according to taste)
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
- Garam masla powder – 1/2 tsp
- Fenugreek powder- 1/8 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
- Black peppercorns- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp(according to taste)
- Ginger- 1″ piece
- Garlic- 3 to 4 cloves
- Curry leaves – 3 to 4
- Coconut oil – 2 tsp
- Water – as required
- Salt – to taste

NOTES
- 1 cup = 250 ml
- Adjust the quantity of kashmiri chili powder,black pepper powder and green chilies according to your taste.
